Please bring your own yoga or exercise mat and a blanket or towel to support knees on the floor.
Slow down and breathe deeply. Learn how to work with your breath to calm and focus your mind. In this class we will explore the "insides" of simple yoga postures by generating movement in and out of postures via the breath. Emphasis will be on finding and directing the breath in a handful of postures accessible to everyone. Please bring your own yoga or exercise mat and a blanket or towel to support knees on the floor. Most postures can be practiced in a chair for those unable to practice on the floor. Sydney Hughes-McGee is certified as a Viniyoga teacher with the American Viniyoga Institute.
